L = Length

H = Height

D = Depth

An item is always measured at the longest/widest area.  All hair accessories will be shown with a measurement in Length and Width.  Some measurements may not show depth

To help get an idea what an inch looks like, look below.  A dime is approx. 3/4 of an inch and a quarter is just under an inch (approx. 15/16 inch.)  The lines are drawn to show what an inch is in comparison to the dime and quarter.
